My friend, Scott Laws, passed away today, September 14th at 11:45 CDT at the age of 30. He has been my friend for the past 2+ years and I am so very grateful for the time that I got to spend with him as his friend. Scott moved back to be with his family in Missouri and these articles were written in July, when many of his Hotmail Silicon Valley friends flew to Missouri to surprise Scott with "One thousand Paper Cranes".
