So.. the wedding for 400 went off... well I can't actually say "without a hitch", but pretty damn close!  The church was beyootiful, the hall was lovely, the DJ was great, the food was not prepared by me (need I say more?) and the Bride and Groom were ecstatic.  I don't have pictures yet (I am waiting for friends and family to send me any they were able to take) but the photographers and videographer should be done with their stuff in the next 2-3 weeks and then I will be able to post them. 

 

Needless to say, all the work over the past 8 months was well worth it - we managed to stay in our budget, and we didn't have to scrimp on the things that mattered (beer, wine, decorations, etc).  I firmly believe that we did a great job, organized it well, and no one knew that it was a "cost-effective" wedding - I got many, many compliments from friends and family, asking me where we got things or how we knew about this or that...

 

But now that it is over... what am I going to do?  Oh, wait - I have work, a house to redecorate and a bunch of other things too!  I can't wait to get started...
